The two major vendors of Montessori Videos and DVDs other than Educational Video are NAMTA and The Montessori Foundation. Of particular interest is “Montessori for the Kindergarten Year?” from the Montessori Foundation and “Edison’s Day” from NAMTA.

“Montessori for the Kindergarten Year?” is specifically designed to educate parents about why they should choose to keep their chldren in Montessori rather than send them to a public Kindergarten. I have frequently gotten requests for this video and passed them on to The Montessori Foundation.

“Edison’s Day” follows a 20 month old toddler through a day of his life demonstrating the level of independence children of that age can achieve. I have heard many people praise this DVD. It was shown at the NAMTA exhibit at the 100th anniversary of Montessori at the AMS convention.
