The Montessori School Leadership Multimedia Kit was created to offer effective leadership support materials to Montessori school administrators, who lead children of all ages in public or private settings. Program Two focuses on public Montessori schools and secondary schools.
This kit includes tools for staff development, perspectives on how to approach key issues, model handbooks, legal forms, mission statements, and sample documents to help guide administrators. The video portion includes between 20 and 30 short videos, chosen to showcase a variety of topics – from how to start a public Montessori school to financial aid and fundraising strategies.
The videos feature Marta Donahoe, who has 30 years of experience in the Cincinnati public Montessori programs. Marta is also the head of the Cincinnati Montessori Secondary Teacher Education Program, and founder of Clark Montessori Junior High and High School. Marta provides expert knowledge on starting and managing a public Montessori school.
Pdf documents on the CD provide links to excellent inspirational talks by leading educators, many of whom have been keynote speakers at AMS conventions. Links to supporting articles about marketing Montessori to parents and the community are included.
